Senior Project Manager | £40 - £44k | York (Hybrid) – Consultancy Environment | Complex Projects | Client Ownership & Leadership

Are you an experienced Project Manager ready to step into a senior role where you’ll own client relationships, shape delivery, and lead complex multi-stakeholder projects? We’re working with a growing consultancy that partners with household name clients on projects spanning employee engagement, internal communications, and creative strategy. They’re looking for a Senior Project Manager who thrives in fast paced, multi project environments and can bring both structure and commercial acumen to the table.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end delivery of multiple high value projects for big name clients
• Act as the senior point of contact for clients, building trust, running meetings, and influencing outcomes
• Drive project profitability and identify opportunities for account growth
• Mentor and coach other PMs to raise delivery standards across the team
• Bring calm, clarity, and structure to complex, multi-stakeholder programmes
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (creative, strategic, digital) to deliver seamless results

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large scale, complex projects within an agency or consultancy setting
• Commercially sharp, capable of managing budgets and influencing growth
• Confident communicator, able to engage with senior stakeholders and exec level clients
• Organised, structured, and resilient under pressure
• Skilled in project tools (Excel, Gantt, timelines) with a keen eye for detail

Bonus points

• APM, PMI or Agile certification
• Coaching or mentoring experience
• Background in internal comms, people engagement, or creative delivery
