Job description

Overview

My client are seeking a dynamic and technically capable Senior Project Manager to lead retail fit-out schemes for one of their supermarket/food retail accounts. The role involves managing both small and large-scale projects across the UK, with a strong focus on food retail environments. You'll be joining a team with a proven track record, including delivery of two major schemes, and a secured pipeline of work for the coming year.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial scoping through delivery and defect resolution
• Oversee site teams and subcontractors across multiple locations
• Manage client relationships and chair project meetings
• Coordinate with QS on programming and cost control
• Ensure compliance with standards and health & safety regulations
• Deliver a range of schemes including: Empty shell fit-outs; Full-line store refurbishments; Conversions (cladding, roofing, etc.)

Location & Travel

Location: UK Wide (South/Midlands preferred). Projects span from Yorkshire to the South, with 50% based in London. UK-wide travel required.

• Experienced in food retail fit-outs
• Strong technical knowledge and site delivery experience
• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness certified
• Client-facing with excellent communication and leadership skills

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £70,000-£75,000 + Car Allowance + Healthcare + Bonus
