Senior Project Manager
Location: Liverpool (hybrid working is available)
Term: Permanent
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience)
My client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke products, primarily working within the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in the Liverpool area on a permanent basis.
Qualifications
- 5 or more years of Project Management experience to Senior or near Senior level
- Ideally experienced working with a small team to implement new Project Management processes
- Experience delivering turnkey projects
- Hold PRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualifications
- An educational or hands-on background in Engineering
- A background in the Medical sector would also be beneficial
- Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge
- Be able to read engineering drawings
- Strong client-facing experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Be flexible to travel as required
Responsibilities
- Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and delivery
- Organising projects, implementing a new Project Management process and motivating the existing team to work to new structures and procedures
- Successfully delivering projects on time and on budget
- Producing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans
- Liaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progress
- Working with design, purchasing and production departments
- Presenting project plans and reports to management
- Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues
- Maintaining technical documentation as required
- Mentoring junior members of the team
- Occasional travel as required
