We are seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to join our Glasgow office. In this pivotal role, you will have the chance to take the lead on multiple dynamic projects for a prestigious Client. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring these projects not only meet deadlines but also exceed quality standards. In this pivotal role, you'll immerse yourself in managing complex challenges, carefully following detailed specifications to meet the unique needs of our clients. Your expertise will shine as you collaborate with diverse stakeholders, driving projects to successful and timely completion.

Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Embedding agreed protocols and leading all aspects of design management to ensure consistency, compliance, and best practice throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Administering NEC contracts effectively, ensuring contractual obligations are met and risks are appropriately managed.
  • Monitoring, driving, and reporting on project performance, with a proactive approach to action planning and issue resolution.
  • Delivering assigned projects successfully by adhering to all specified requirements, governance standards, and client expectations.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within operational constraints by effectively managing resources to meet agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team, contributing to their ongoing development and performance.

Please note you must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role due to the nature of the projects you will be working on.

About You

Our ideal Senior Project Manager will have:

  • Proven experience working as a Project Manager within a relevant environment
  • A relevant qualification and/or membership of a recognised professional body (such as RICS, CIOB, or APM)
  • Strong contractual knowledge with the ability to manage and administer contracts effectively
  • Excellent client-facing skills, including clear communication, high-quality report writing, and confident presentation abilities
  • Experience working within a consultancy environment
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development through regular CPD activities
  • Chartered status, or actively working towards Chartership
  • Eligibility to obtain, or existing possession of SC level Security Clearance is required to fulfil the duties of this role (must be a UK Sole National)
