• Proven Project Management experience within the Fire Industry or related technical sectors.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and ideally CDM Regulations.
• Commercially minded with experience in budget control and profitability tracking.
• Strong understanding of fire systems and compliance.
• Confident communicator with clients and internal teams alike.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

Overview

Senior Project Manager – £55,000–£60,000 + Bonus + Company Car

Location: Gillingham, Kent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

Holiday: 22 days + bank holidays

Contract Type: Permanent

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead full project lifecycle: feasibility, planning, delivery, and close-out
• Define scope, budgets, and schedules; allocate resources and set clear objectives
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies
• Manage project finances: cost control, applications for payment, and margin protection
• Drive stakeholder engagement and act as the main point of contact for clients
• Mentor junior team members and support peers on complex challenges
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and CDM regulations
• Deliver regular progress updates to senior leadership and clients

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven Project Management experience within the Fire Industry or related technical sectors
