Senior Project Manager

Location: High Street, PO12 1EB

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 5+ Months

Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £389.84 per day

Job Responsibilities
  • Work with internal teams to define maintenance service needs.
  • Stay updated on market trends to choose the right service provider.
  • Create and manage procurement documents like EOIs and ITTs.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
  • Analyze bids and negotiate contracts for favorable terms.
  • Work with lawyers to finalize service contracts and ensure compliance.
  • Set up and manage contract performance indicators.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and advisors.
  • Ensure procurement activities follow legal and ethical standards.
  • Keep detailed records of all procurement activities.
Person Specifications

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in procurement or contracts management.
  • Experience in procuring maintenance or technical services for housing authorities.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of construction management and industry practices.
