Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Remote/Hybrid (UK-based, ideally Derbyshire)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role: We\'re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead an AI Transformation Programme with a major local government client using PRINCE2 Agile SCRUM methodologies. You\'ll be responsible for delivering a comprehensive suite of AI solutions including SMART Copilot solutions over multiple channels including web, phone and e-mail. This high-profile programme represents a significant opportunity to showcase ICS.AI\'s capabilities in transforming local government services.

In this role, you\'ll coordinate delivery teams, manage project governance, and ensure successful implementation of our GenAI platforms while maintaining strong client relationships. You\'ll be the primary point of contact with major clients during project delivery and represent the company on Project Steering Groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact with major clients during project delivery and represent the company on Project Steering Groups
  • Manage all elements of the PRINCE2 Agile project management lifecycle for AI transformation programmes
  • Coordinate technical implementation teams for projects and solutions across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Manage project budgets, resourcing, risk management and stakeholder engagement across multiple council departments
  • Provide client communications and reporting, including regular Highlight reports and project status updates
  • Ensure accountability for project quality through test plans, governance reviews and risk management
  • Create and maintain project documentation including Project Initiation Documentation, Project Plans, RAID Logs, and Change Management Trackers
  • Deliver Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Budget Management, Benefits Realisation, Business Intelligence and Renewal management
  • Effective resource planning to ensure maximum billable resource allocation
  • Provide consultancy services and gather solution requirements from stakeholders
  • Support the Project Management Office team with PMO continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a Project Management Office role
  • PRINCE2 Foundation certification (PRINCE2 Practitioner and ITIL Foundation desirable)
  • Strong understanding of PRINCE2 Agile SCRUM methodologies
  • Experience implementing software solutions, ideally in local government or public sector
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams within a Programme environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with experience in internal and external stakeholder management
  • Experience in risk management, conflict resolution, and business analytics
