Senior Project Engineer – £70,000–£80,000

Location : Home-based (UK-wide travel)

Looking for a senior engineering role where you genuinely own projects from concept to commissioning?

This is a high-autonomy Senior Project Engineer opportunity with a specialist industrial engineering group delivering complex capital projects across the UK. The role sits at the heart of technically challenging work within live operational environments, combining hands‑on engineering expertise with real project ownership.

Working closely with a Project Manager based overseas, you’ll act as the technical authority on defined projects and packages — trusted to make decisions, lead technical delivery, and work directly with sites, suppliers, and contractors.

Projects typically range from £500k to £10m and focus on heavy industrial processing environments, including bulk handling, conveyors, screening systems, and metal separation technology.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Taking end-to-end responsibility for the technical delivery of capital engineering projects
• Assessing existing plant, conveyors, structures, and processing equipment on live sites
