Senior Project Co-ordinator

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Co-ordinator to take a leading role in the pre-construction phase of a diverse range of construction projects. The successful candidate will manage the development of high-quality design and technical information, ensuring outputs meet programme, budget, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full design development process.
  • Lead tender launch meetings, ensuring all information issued to estimators aligns with Employer’s Requirements and reduces risk.
  • Prepare well-considered contractor proposals and support technical elements of tender submissions.
  • Develop and maintain robust design programmes to ensure timely, accurate, and budget-aligned information flow.
  • Obtain quotations from consultants, Local Authorities, statutory bodies, and utility providers to form accurate fee schedules.
  • Secure early approvals for planning conditions, building regulations, and any other statutory consents.
  • Obtain technical approval for Sectional Agreement works.
  • Build strong working relationships internally and externally, including time spent on site to understand project constraints.
  • Act as a key driver in transforming technical data into usable information that supports programme objectives.
  • Support the production of ’as-built’ documentation at project completion.
  • Provide mentoring, guidance, and technical support to Assistant and Trainee Project Coordinators.
  • Promote best practice in pre-construction processes and overall project coordination.
Person Specification
