Senior Product Owner

Forward Role has partnered with an established travel organisation seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to take ownership of high-traffic, customer-facing websites across a portfolio of specialist travel brands.

This role is responsible for shaping and optimising end-to-end website journeys, ensuring modern UX standards, strong conversion performance, and a scalable, future-proof web platform. You will lead discovery, experimentation, delivery and continuous improvement across search, browse, product pages, booking flows and customer self-service.

Working closely with UX, engineering, marketing and commercial teams, you will drive measurable improvements in customer experience and business performance within a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve a unified, modern website experience aligned to a wider digital transformation programme
  • Define and manage the website product roadmap, covering UX improvements, platform upgrades, new features and technical enhancements
  • Deliver measurable uplift in conversion across key journeys (search, browse, product pages and booking flow)
  • Improve website performance, speed, reliability and accessibility
  • Translate customer and business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Lead the development and adoption of customer self-service features (e.g. booking management, amendments, documentation)
  • Support CRO and experimentation initiatives to deliver incremental gains
  • Ensure high-quality, customer-centric features are delivered on time and within engineering capacity
  • Collaborate closely with UX, engineering, content, brand, CRO and marketing teams
  • Embed Agile product development principles and best practices

Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in travel, hospitality, OTA or complex e-commerce environments
  • Experience working across multi-brand or multi-market websites
  • Familiarity with travel product models such as accommodation, flights, packages, tours or ancillaries
  • End-to-end ownership of website journeys including search, product detail pages, booking flows and self-service
  • Experience working with design systems, reusable components and scalable front-end architectures
  • Strong collaboration with UX teams to deliver accessible, user-centred experience
