Radical Forge is a Middlesbrough, UK-based developer that has provided co-development services on a range of AAA and indie titles. In 2021 the company created their first original IP, 'Bright Paw', which was published on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One/Series S/X, Google and iOS by Rogue Games. We are currently working on our newest IP, Southfield, which you can look forward to playing soon!!

Your Mission

The role requires you to take a production leadership role on projects, taking ownership of project delivery on time, to the required quality and on budget, building strong relationships across the teams and with our external co-dev partners. We are seeking a team player with an inclusive and empathetic approach to leadership.

Core responsibilities
  • Production leadership - You will work alongside Leads and Seniors across disciplines, bringing a solution-oriented mindset to facilitate progress - keeping everyone on track, balancing the disciplines to achieve goals that you’re able to clearly articulate.
  • Planning - You will reliably scope projects, balancing risk and opportunity with a keen awareness of commercial outcomes.
  • Delivery of work - You will anticipate potential issues and are confident to facilitate discussions regarding risk and risk mitigation with Leads and Seniors, keeping focus on key objectives.
  • Data & tracking - You will create a project database, backlog and roadmap. You'll innovate and adapt documentation to suit different project requirements.
  • Leadership/collaboration - You will be running large teams, or a full project and will need to be able to train and mentor Junior/Associate Producers.
  • Stakeholder management - You'll be expected to be able to develop strong relationships with external co-dev partners and publishers. As directed, support the development of pitch decks, prototypes, and RFPs.

Experience/Qualifications required
  • Qualified scrum master, agile practitioner/certification, or similar project management qualifications, or practical experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years in senior positions, taking projects through all phases of development.
  • Live service experience is a bonus.
  • This role can be fully remote within the UK.
  • We will require all applicants to have a pre-existing right to work in the UK.
  • The role will initially be a 12 month Fixed Term contract with the potential to extend after this.
