Job description
Senior Procurement Manager

Location: Haddenham, UK (also posted for France)

Responsible for assigned categories and the development of strategies and programs to optimize cost, rationalize the supply base and bring value to the Organisation while mitigating risk. May manage subordinates. Includes strategy execution activity supporting Direct and / or Indirect spend. Participation in the development of OGSM and Procurement planning activities

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of Procurement for their categories globally – Logistics.
  • Leads the negotiations of procured materials and services to assure optimal TCO (Cost, Quality, Delivery, Innovation) achieved. Develops and implements strategies to assure lowest overall cost while mitigating risk to the Corporation.
  • Promotes high level of customer satisfaction in supporting the needs of Divisional projects & requirements for Purchasing guidance & leadership.
  • Participates in the planning and forecasting process to establish standard costs and provide explanations for price variances at Division level.
  • Participates and may lead change management efforts while creating true alignment & integration internally and externally. Acts as internal consultant.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or equivalent Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven success in procurement, supply chain management, and logistics operations.
  • Track record in delivering significant cost savings and leading cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant industries, material flow, and handling processes.
  • McCormick product and business knowledge is an advantage.
  • CPM or APICS certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with senior stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ability to manage diverse and sometimes conflicting priorities effectively.
  • Professional‑level project management skills.
  • French – good to have
