Job summary

A leading supply chain company in the UK is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to oversee and enhance its procurement function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, while ensuring continuity of supply and cost-effectiveness. The role requires building strategic relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supply chain risks. This position demands strong leadership and the ability to work with senior stakeholders across various operations.

  • Set and deliver the overall procurement and supply chain strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the procurement and import/export teams.
  • Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with UK and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts, pricing structures, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Ensure continuity of supply for manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • Oversee all import and export activity, including customs compliance, documentation, and logistics performance.
  • Manage exposure to supply chain risk, market volatility, and regulatory change.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across operations, finance, sales, and leadership teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement in procurement processes, systems, and governance.
Job description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Procurement Manager to take full ownership of our procurement function. This role will be pivotal in overseeing both our UK and International Supply chain, ensuring that we consistently deliver cost-effective and high-quality goods and service.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring continuity of supply, cost control, supplier performance, and compliance, supporting both manufacturing and ದೊಡ್ಡ distribution operations.
