Qualifications

• Experience in hydro and/or pumped storage hydro systems is highly desirable.
• Familiar with power systems design and analysis.
• Ability to lead electrical engineering design projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering design of hydropower projects.
• Perform design, model and analyse electrical and electronic systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Skills

Experience with large rotating machines (generators or motors)

Proficient in producing design drawings and documents

Strong skills in giving technical presentations

Education

Ideally Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status
