What you will do

• Allocate assessments to independent social workers and ensure their quality assurance.
• Oversee a post-order support worker, providing guidance and supervision.
• Organise and manage allocation, initial, and midway meetings effectively.
• Track the progress of assessments, ensuring essential checks are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain excellent record-keeping and monitoring throughout the process.
• Offer consultation and support to other teams regarding the Special Guardianship process.

Responsibilities and requirements

• A degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Significant frontline experience as a qualified social worker in the UK social services sector, with a deep understanding of Special Guardianship and associated processes.
