JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a key leadership role within the North Locality (Troon / Prestwick), supporting both the Response and Practice teams to deliver high-quality, locality-based social work.

As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a vital part in safeguarding and supporting individuals and their wider support network in Troon and Prestwick, working collaboratively to promote wellbeing and ensure effective interventions. The post offers an exciting opportunity to influence practice, provide professional guidance, and contribute to the development of a responsive and resilient social work service.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
