Dark Horse is a PPC, Paid Social, SEO and Digital PR agency that wants to make a difference to its clients and employees.

We offer a great career path working with some of the top professionals in the industry.

We are recruiting our next PPC specialist to join the growing PPC team.

We have one aim… Build and scale the best PPC team in the country. This is a chance to learn from the best. We are already a Google Premier Partner, which puts us in the top-tier PPC teams in the country.

The role

Reporting directly to the Head of PPC, you begin by assisting the team on their clients, whilst we bring you up to speed on our processes and standards.

You’ll quickly grow to a level where you will be responsible for the success of, and communication with, a small portfolio of your own PPC accounts.

You’ll also be the second point of contact, playing a support and execution role, on some bigger clients who will be led by others in the team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage PPC campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Lead the communication with your clients, including emails and scheduled Teams calls
  • Create, analyse and optimise campaigns
  • Deliver monthly client reports and presentations
  • Always be focused on client performance and retention
  • Continually test, learn and suggest new ideas to the team and your clients
What’s on offer

  • Hybrid working - 2 days a week in office
  • Flexitime
  • 27 days annual leave
  • Plus your Birthday off
  • Mental Wellbeing Bupa programme
  • Altrincham - 100 yards from Stamford Park
  • Dark Horse will carbon offset your role with The Dark Forest (10k Tree Target)
  • Working in an amazing team - learning from some fantastic people
Skills and experience

You need to be great at taking a client’s budget and turning it into leads or revenue using PPC. Here are some of the things we’ll look for:

  • 2+ years of experience in a PPC role
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team to deliver best-in-class campaigns
  • Have commercial awareness and understand the accountability of managing client budgets
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or similar (not essential)
  • Mad Excel skills (not essential)

We need someone who can live and breathe the values of our company and is, ultimately, driven to make an impact by putting clients first. This is about being a voice and a vital central cog in the business. Learning from incredible colleagues and being fast-tracked to a huge skill set and an enhanced career.
