A local council is seeking a Senior Planning Officer (Development Management) to manage complex developments and major projects. The role involves supporting the Major Projects Manager and addressing politically sensitive proposals while ensuring beneficial outcomes. The ideal candidate should have prior knowledge of the planning system and experience with large-scale projects. Competitive remuneration and generous benefits are included.

Salary Grade 8 £39,152 - £42,839 per annum
Full Time, permanent 37 Hours per week
We are looking for an individual to specialise in handling the more complex developments and major projects received by the Council. This includes politically sensitive and locally emotive proposals, but also applications bringing often the most generous local benefits.
