A local authority shared service is seeking a senior planning lawyer for a temporary role in Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will provide legal advice on planning, development, and highways matters and must be an England and Wales qualified legal professional. This position allows for hybrid work with a salary of £50-£60/hour based on experience.
LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority Shared Service based in Cambridgeshire, for a senior planning lawyer to join them on a temporary basis (which has potential to become permanent).
You will provide a range of public sector clients with professional legal advice on planning, large scale development, and highways matters. This includes representing clients in negotiations and ensuring compliance with statutory duties and obligations.
Previous UK local government experience is essential.
The salary for this role is £50-£60/hour umbrella (PAYE equivalent is available if preferred), depending on experience.
