Job summary

A leading educational organization is seeking a Senior Standards Verifier for Work Based Learning (Pharmacy) to oversee and ensure national standards in qualifications. Responsibilities include advising centres, conducting sampling for assessments, and providing necessary support to Standards Verifiers. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in competency-based qualifications, hold a relevant External Quality Assurance qualification, and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. This position offers flexible work arrangements, needing approximately 8 to 15 days per year.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in delivering and assessing NVQs/competence-based qualifications.
• Experience as a Standards Verifier and/or External Verifier.
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development in vocational qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assessment and internal/external verification for Pharmacy qualifications.
• Support and advise centres regarding delivery and standards.
• Provide sampling-related support to Standards Verifiers.
