Overview

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Greenwich to assist with the appointment of a Senior Parking Projects Manager, on a 1.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £376.58 - £474.00 per Day

Summary:

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking an experienced Senior Parking Projects Manager to lead, manage, and deliver a portfolio of complex parking and traffic-related projects. The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight, financial management, and technical expertise, with a focus on designing, coordinating, and evaluating Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) and related infrastructure projects. Expert-level proficiency in CAD and GIS systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of parking projects on time and within budget, including CPZs and other parking infrastructure schemes.
• Identify funding opportunities and manage project governance and financial reporting.
• Use CAD and GIS systems to expert level for mapping, planning, and reporting.
• Provide technical specifications, Conditions of Contract, Bills of Quantities, and Schedules of Rates.
• Line manage and support staff and contractors, driving a culture of performance, flexibility, and quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or an appropriate technical qualification with significant experience in parking/highways engineering.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in:
  • Designing and delivering CPZ schemes.
  • Leading multi-disciplinary teams and contractors.
  • Fulfilling Principal Designer duties under CDM (2015).
  • Managing budgets, risks, and performance reporting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and GIS tools (essential).
