Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial planning and mentoring others? We’re looking for a Senior Paraplanner to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to lead by example, support advisers with complex cases, and help shape the paraplanning function. Responsibilities
  • Assessing the suitability of financial advice against customer needs and regulatory standards
  • Producing high-quality suitability reports and conducting technical research
  • Mentoring paraplanners and supporting their development
  • Leading improvements to advice workflows and client journeys
  • Ensuring documentation and advice meet compliance and governance standards
  • Collaborating with advisers, compliance, and operations teams
  • Explaining advice recommendations clearly and fairly to customers
  • Managing team performance in line with company policies
Qualifications
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII or equivalent experience)
  • In-depth knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations including COBS and Consumer Duty
  • Proven experience producing compliant, high-quality suitability reports
  • Experience supporting advisers with complex planning scenarios
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools and CRM systems
  • Exposure to process improvement and client journey design
  • Experience managing and coaching team members
