Job Description

Reporting to the Pre‑Production Manager, the Senior Order Management Coordinator is a multi‑functional role responsible for leading end‑to‑end order management within a team of contributors. This person leads the integration of orders within the OTC system, prioritizing workflow within the Order Management Team to ensure accuracy and system acceptance. The role regularly interfaces with internal and external contributors, requiring a proactive approach and excellent communication skills. This is a full‑time role, in the designated office 5 days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead acceptance of OTC process within Pre‑Production Team, ensuring successful implementation within the wider business
  • Oversee entire order management process for multiple TEL Hobby & Mass Market/Retail collections, ensuring a consistently high level of accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Work with Pre‑Production Manager to allocate workflow of all Order Summaries with Order Management Team
  • Be responsible for complete accuracy within all documentation, including reviewing item setup and assembly BOMs on D365 before releasing for RFQs
  • Be the gatekeeper for Customer and Supplier Change Request process on behalf of Pre‑Production Team, reviewing changes, ensuring acceptable changes are actioned and escalating problematic change requests to Pre‑Production Manager where necessary
  • With Order Management & Sales Integration Coordinator, collaborate with Finance, Product & Sales Support teams to ensure Order Book Setup is complete and accurate
  • Line management responsibilities for OM Coordinator, OM Administrator and OM & SI Coordinator
  • Recommend changes and implementation of tools, processes, and procedures that will improve efficiency and accuracy within the pre‑production department
  • Contribute to Pre‑Production tasks directed by the Director and Pre‑Production Manager as and when required
Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to multi‑task and prioritize
  • Proficient knowledge of print processes, techniques and technical terminology
  • The ability to work under pressure and support others within the team
  • Methodical approach with a high attention‑to‑detail
  • Strong computer skills particularly using Excel are essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and oral
  • Able to work in a team and with other departments
  • Competent in all Microsoft office applications
Education & Experience
  • Educated to degree level or an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
  • 2+ Years of Experience in a print/manufacturing environment would be useful but not essential.
