We are seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Central Bedfordshire (Biggleswade and Ampthill). This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is enthusiastic about delivering high-quality occupational therapy and building strong community networks that empower individuals in their recovery journey.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to service development, supported by the Head Occupational Therapist and Clinical Lead OTs within the Working Age Community Mental Health Services.

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong occupational identity, who will work as part of a well-integrated multi-disciplinary team to deliver effective, evidence-based OT interventions.

Full UK driving license and use of car is essential.

You will:
  • Provide specialist OT assessments and interventions using the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) framework.
  • Deliver a variety of individual and group-based interventions that promote recovery and improve quality of life.
  • Actively contribute to the development and delivery of innovative group programmes focused on occupational participation and community inclusion.
  • Manage your workload effectively, balancing individual interventions and group programs.
  • Work as an integral member of the Community Team to ensure holistic care for service users.
  • Collaborate with other OTs and multi-disciplinary professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Support clients and their carers with a compassionate approach to mental health recovery.
  • Be supported through regular managerial and professional supervision.
  • Participate in bimonthly OT CPD events and wider service development initiatives.
Our values guide everything we do:
  • We Care
  • We Respect
  • We Are Inclusive

We are looking for individuals who believe in these values and bring compassion, respect, and inclusivity into every interaction with service users, carers, colleagues, and our wider partner organisations.

We actively support continued professional development, with access to tailored training opportunities through the appraisal process.

If you are ready for the next step in your career and are passionate about delivering meaningful, recovery-focused occupational therapy, we’d love to hear from you.
