BRAND NEW PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER TO JOIN AN EXCITING TECH TEAM IN A SECURE ENVIRONMENT

• Permanent position available for a Senior Network Engineer
• DV clearance required
• Aldershot-based opportunity with hybrid working ( 3 days on site)
• Salary up to £65,000
• Work on advanced networking solutions for high-priority systems

What will the Senior Network Engineer be doing?

You\'ll take the lead on building and improving secure network environments - from shaping the design of enterprise networks to configuring routing and firewall rules. You\'ll be involved in day-to-day support while also contributing to technical improvements and trialling new ideas in a lab setting. This is a hands-on, varied role that offers both autonomy and collaboration with like-minded engineers.

What we\'re looking for

• A background in managing and scaling complex networks across multiple sites
• Comfortable with core routing protocols (you\'ve likely used OSPF or BGP in production)
• WAN & LAN expertise
• Experience building secure connections and managing firewall policies
• Confident translating high-level technical plans into real-world configurations
• Holds active DV clearance

Bonus points for experience with

• Modern data centre networking (fabric-based or software-defined)
• Encrypted or classified network solutions
• Automation tools or scripts (Ansible, Terraform etc.)
• Non-traditional or open networking hardware
• VMware NSX or similar network virtualisation technologies
• Cisco certifications or similar hands-on experience
