They are looking for a technically strong and hands-on Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their collaborative and ambitious team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of projects from concept to completion.
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including architects and contractors.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of technical standards.
• Produce detailed designs, specifications, and technical reports.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• A solid background in mechanical building services design within a consultancy environment.
• Proven experience in delivering technically complex projects.
• Comfortable taking a lead role on projects and engaging with clients.
• Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership (CIBSE, IMechE or similar).
