Attention all Senior Mechanical Design Engineers!

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well-established engineering design consultancy in a permanent position. You will work on a hybrid basis, with 3 days a week in our client's London office.

This is a great opportunity to work on exciting projects with an experienced team.

- Competitive salary range from £55,000-£70,000, depending on experience.

- Hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design on projects of all sizes, ensuring excellent client service.
• Ensure quality control across mechanical engineering projects company-wide.
• Manage project budgets and control costs.
• Oversee project and cross-functional teams.
• Attend client/project sites for meetings, surveys, and training.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in building services consultancy design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience delivering detailed designs through full design cycle.
• Knowledge of Water Services, Heating / LTHW, HVAC, Fuel, above-ground drainage, and BMS.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET or similar) preferred.
• Experience with thermal modelling, energy assessment, and dynamic energy modelling software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the commercial sector and BIM experience are strong advantages.
