Senior Marketing Executive
Shifnal
£35,000 - £40,000 doe plus profit share

My client, who is the leading manufacturer in their field, is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join its Shifnal based team. They are looking for someone who is energetic and commercially astute to take full ownership of this exciting role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multi-channel marketing activity, enhancing our online presence, generating leads, and supporting the business in launching new products and expanding into new markets. This is a hands‑on role that requires creativity, commercial awareness, and the ability to deliver measurable results.

Key Duties
  • Take ownership of website organisation: identify opportunities for improvement, manage updates, and liaise with internal/external developers.
  • Drive SEO performance by optimising existing pages, implementing on‑page and off‑page strategies, and tracking rankings.
  • Create and execute inbound campaigns (blogs, email sequences, landing pages, ebooks, etc.) to increase lead generation.
  • Develop engaging social media campaigns tailored to our audience.
  • Analyse website traffic, form submissions, and conversion rates, and recommend activities for improvement.
  • Lead content creation across blogs, ebooks, technical literature, PR articles, and case studies.
  • Liaise with relevant industry publishers to secure PR opportunities.
  • Support video content development, including in‑house testing and customer‑focused case studies.
  • Plan and manage tradeshows, exhibitions, and customer events (including travel and overnight stays).
  • Attend events to represent the business, understand customer needs, and bring market insights back into strategy.
  • Conduct site visits and customer interviews to generate authentic content and strengthen relationships.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Management teams to identify new markets, improve customer experience, and align marketing with sales goals.
  • Support New Product Development with product launches, ensuring campaigns are effectively executed.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly marketing reports to demonstrate ROI and influence business decisions.
Essential Experience
  • Experience in a B2B marketing role with proven results in lead generation.
  • SEO knowledge (on‑page, off‑page, keyword strategy, link‑building, analytics).
  • Copywriting skills across multiple formats.
  • Confident in planning and delivering campaigns that generate measurable results.
  • Creative thinker, with the confidence to challenge existing practices.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with: Microsoft Office, HubSpot (CMS & CRM), AHREFs (or similar SEO tool), ClickUp (or other project management software), Google Analytics & Google Search Console.
  • Google Adverts.
  • Attend site visits, customer meetings, and tradeshows (UK & Overseas) when required – occasional overnight stays.
  • Work closely across all departments including Sales, Management, and Product Development.
