An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the team that manage the markets’ offer at Preston City Council.
Day to day, you will efficiently and effectively supervise the running of Preston Markets; Market Hall, Outdoor and Box Markets allocating stalls, receiving electronic and telephone payments, raising invoices, engaging with traders, and ensuring the market buildings meet the obligations under health and safety regulations and security. It is important that you are comfortable and capable of engaging effectively with others at all levels, whether it be working with elected members, market traders or customers.

Preston City Council is committed tooffering the successful candidate a 37 hour working week, split over 5 days out of 6, with Saturday being a working day. Work patterns will consist from alternating 6.00am and 7.30am start times.
