Who we are

Led by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Royal Foundation supports a broad spectrum of activity: from apprentices to veterans, community projects to national campaigns, local action to global conservation.

We bring people together to create optimistic, innovative solutions to society’s greatest challenges, driving transformative change. We aim to build a fairer, more inclusive society and a healthier planet, proving that meaningful change is always possible.

Over the past few years, we have launched a range of ground-breaking new programmes, including: The Earthshot Prize, The Centre for Early Childhood, and Homewards. We are determined to accelerate our social leadership, ambition and impact even further.

About the role

The Royal Foundation is seeking an experienced Senior Partnerships Manager to lead engagement with Homewards’ ‘Activators’, our business partners driving real change in tackling homelessness. While part of The Royal Foundation’s central Partnerships Team, you’ll work closely with the Homewards delivery team, building strong relationships that connect businesses with meaningful impact across six locations nationally.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands‑on relationship management, creating partnerships that transform lives and strengthen the network of organisations committed to ending homelessness.

What you’ll do
  • Lead the Activator strategy – inform decision‑making and plan impactful initiatives across Homewards.
  • Build and nurture relationships – manage all Homewards Activators, from financial contributors to pro‑bono supporters, ensuring partnerships deliver tangible impact.
  • Shape new partnerships – identify potential Activators, engage executives and stakeholders, and bring new collaborators on board.
  • Collaborate closely with teams – work with Local Delivery Leads and the Strategic Initiatives team to align national and local partnerships, ensuring support for Homewards’ objectives.
  • Coordinate with the central Partnerships Team – integrate Activator partnerships with other Foundation programmes, philanthropic initiatives, and corporate engagement efforts.
  • Provide leadership support – draft briefings, prepare meetings, and support the CEO and Leadership Team ahead of key events.
  • Deliver meaningful engagement opportunities – organise roundtables, Activator days, briefings, and regular touchpoints to ensure long‑lasting relationships.
Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a strategic relationship‑builder, passionate about driving social impact through private sector partnerships. You’ll manage a high‑profile network of businesses, creating long‑lasting change and delivering solutions to end homelessness.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver the Activator strategy for Homewards.
  • Develop and manage existing Activator partnerships.
  • Identify, secure, and manage new partnerships that create tangible impact.
  • Work cross‑functionally across the Foundation teams to coordinate partnerships that cross multiple programmes or philanthropic efforts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to high‑profile stakeholders.
Knowledge and experience
  • Experience building partnerships beyond traditional corporate fundraising, ideally in homelessness, social impact, CSR, or ESG initiatives.
  • Proven track record of developing private sector partnerships and driving projects to delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and C‑suite executives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident in presenting to high‑profile audiences.
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, complex issues in homelessness and housing.
