Senior Management Accountant - Up to £80,000 plus bonus and benefits - Central London/hybrid

My client, a market leading sports and leisure company, based in Central London is currently looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant for their European head office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to make their mark in one of the world's most dynamic sports and entertainment organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Full responsibility for Management Accounts for the entire portfolio
• Manage a team of 5
• Update long term forecast with monthly actuals for board reports
• Issuing the board and senior management teams with monthly management account packs
• Submission of financial data to key leaders and stakeholders
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset register and posting of depreciation charges
• Preparation of Accruals and Prepayments schedule
• Post month end journals for preparation of management accounts
• Assist Chief Financial Officer with year-end audit
• Provide analysis to help improve performance and decision making across divisions within the business
• Manage the month end process, including setting deadlines with the finance team

Key skills

• ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification or equivalent
• Strong NetSuite, Coupa and/or Concur knowledge desirable
• Strong MS office knowledge
• Exposure to multi-currency accounting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and business etiquette.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• An interest in live events, music or sport would be hugely beneficial
