Job summary

A growing engineering consultancy in London is seeking an experienced M&E Estimator. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of tendering experience within electrics, and be adept at working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include managing bids, preparing detailed tenders, and producing estimates. The position offers a salary between £60,000 and £70,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of tendering experience within electrics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with NEC3/4 and IChemE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of technical contractual developments.
• Submit and manage bids effectively.
• Prepare and submit documents through to award.
• Create detailed tenders based on specifications.
• Produce estimates using estimating software.
• Gather data required for estimates.
• Resolve ambiguities in tenders before closing.
