A leading medical institution in Manchester is seeking a Senior Locally Employed Doctor in Microbiology. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team and be a driving force in further developing our infection service. These posts would be well suited to resident doctors looking to deepen their infection and microbiology knowledge.
The Department is currently undertaking an improvement project to create a cohesive infection service across all the hospitals within the Trust, in what will become one of the largest infection departments in the UK. This will incorporate colleagues in infectious diseases, sexual and reproductive health, respiratory medicine, genitourinary medicine and infection prevention.
Candidates must be eligible for their own GMC registration: an active licence, ceased licence or pending application with the GMC at the point of application. Candidates who do not fit this criteria will not progress through to the shortlisting stage.
