Overview

Investment Manager, looking to appoint an experienced funds lawyer to lead the legal and compliance function in the UK and Europe.

Seeking a versatile, experienced funds lawyer (from 4 years’ PQE) to join their business as the legal lead for the UK, to support the business’ expansion further into Europe.

Responsibilities

• Be the legal lead for the UK and European business, with responsibility for the legal and compliance function.
• Support the business’ expansion into Europe by providing legal advice on funds setup, distribution and regulatory matters.
• Develop a generalist practice including corporate, DP, employment, IP, fund launches, compliance and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Trained and qualified at a top City law firm, have over 4 years’ PQE with excellent technical knowledge and experience of regulations applicable to funds, including SFDR and SDR.
• Experience of UCITS/private/PE funds/ETFs welcomed along with some in-house at an investment manager being helpful.
• Ambitious funds lawyer ready to be the legal lead for the UK and European business.
