The Opportunity

Join a global infrastructure leader as Senior Legal Counsel from their London HQ. Take a lead role on full life-cycle international projects spanning the power, water, and transport sectors.

The Business
  • Over 50 years' experience delivering major infrastructure assets worldwide.
  • Portfolio includes airports, bridges, tunnels, dams, hydroelectric plants, and more.
  • Works across the entire project life-cycle: financing, design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
  • Strong focus on sustainability and CO₂ reduction, aligned with government climate commitments.
  • Recognised for driving innovation in construction processes that improve delivery times and reduce costs without compromising safety or quality.
The Role
  • Report to the Head of Legal and the Board, advising on strategic projects.
  • Lead on:
    • International commercial contracts
    • Procurement, construction & engineering contracts (FIDIC, EPC)
    • Commercial disputes, PPPs, and arbitrations
  • Collaborate with the international legal team on cross-border matters.
  • Additional exposure to employment law and compliance.
  • Travel required to offices in Europe and the Middle East.
Requirements
  • UK-qualified commercial solicitor, 5+ PQE.
  • Experience in infrastructure/projects work, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong ability to lead transactions and advise senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive and collaborative, with confidence working at board level.
