The Business

- Portfolio includes airports, bridges, tunnels, dams, hydroelectric plants, and more.
- Works across the entire project life-cycle: financing, design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
- Strong focus on sustainability and CO₂ reduction, aligned with government climate commitments.
- Recognised for driving innovation in construction processes that improve delivery times and reduce costs without compromising safety or quality.
The Role
- Report to the Head of Legal and the Board, advising on strategic projects.
- Lead on:
- International commercial contracts
- Procurement, construction & engineering contracts (FIDIC, EPC)
- Commercial disputes, PPPs, and arbitrations
- Collaborate with the international legal team on cross-border matters.
- Additional exposure to employment law and compliance.
- Travel required to offices in Europe and the Middle East.
Requirements
- UK-qualified commercial solicitor, 5+ PQE.
- Experience in infrastructure/projects work, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong ability to lead transactions and advise senior stakeholders.
- Proactive and collaborative, with confidence working at board level.
