Senior Legal Counsel

Fully remote

Job Description:
  • Handle commercial, IT, regulatory, and other legal developments (e.g., GDPR, PSD3), identifying those impacting the business and facilitating or taking appropriate actions.
  • Create and update standard contracts, T&Cs, internal policies, systems, and controls.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts such as processing agreements, partnerships, collaborations, joint ventures, BIN sponsorship, gateway services, and employment arrangements.
  • Manage company secretarial matters, including group structure, board meetings, minutes, and statutory filings.
  • Oversee litigation matters for the group.
  • Manage intellectual property, domain, and trademark registrations for the group.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years PQE experience.
  • Experience in general commercial law within an in-house role.
  • Background in payments or financial services sector.
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Fast, self-driven learner capable of understanding complex products, solutions, and legal frameworks.
  • Ability to collaborate across various business functions.
  • Experience managing company secretarial processes.
  • Solutions-oriented with excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
