I am partnering with a leading, private equity-backed global business, who are seeking a highly skilled Construction Lawyer to join their top-tier in-house legal team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer looking to make a significant impact in a fast-moving and collaborative corporate environment. Ideally they would like someone to start in January 2026.

Key Responsibilities :

• Commercial Contracts : Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service contracts, distribution agreements, and joint ventures, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals.
• Construction Projects : Provide legal advice and support on various construction projects, including procurement, contractor agreements, disputes, and claims, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance throughout all stages of project delivery.
• Risk Management : Assess and advise on legal risks, and help develop strategies to mitigate risks related to commercial agreements, construction contracts, and operational activities.
• Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, procurement, project managers, and other business units, to provide proactive legal support.
• Compliance and Governance : Ensure the business complies with relevant laws and regulations, including construction-related legislation, industry standards, and corporate governance.
