Qualifications

  • Master's (with 2-3 years of work experience in private sector) or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in working with LC-MS instrumentation using validated targeted workflows in a commercial setting.
  • Strong expertise in LC-MS techniques (including micro-LC), including troubleshooting, method development and validation.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and outside organizations.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with LIMS and laboratory inventory management.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with Sciex MS and Shimadzu LCs is a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining several LC-MS systems, ensuring smooth operation of routine laboratory.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with analytical instrumentation.
  • Evaluation of targeted methods and data interpretation.
  • Adjusting and updating laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Clear and structured documentation in the Laboratory Information Management System.
  • Effective time management to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with different teams.
  • Working in shifts with variable working hours and weekend duties.
