A major energy infrastructure provider is seeking a Senior Land Officer / Land Officer to support land rights for projects across England and Wales. The role involves negotiating land access, managing contracts, and liaising with stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have experience with complex projects and strong negotiation skills. Offering a flexible hybrid working model, this position provides a competitive salary between £42,000 - £55,000, an annual bonus, and generous benefits, including contributory pension and training support.

As a Senior Land Officer / Land Officer, you'll support the delivery of technical land rights support for existing National Grid assets and provide expert advice to land teams in the delivery of our land rights strategy in accordance with current best practice, process and guidance.
Our Access to Land team play a pivotal role in delivering The Great Grid Upgrade. Our teams are dedicated to securing land access rights, negotiating with landowners, and navigating complex capital projects, without which it wouldn't be possible to build and maintain our future Grid. It's no small feat - and we need the best to join us in our mission.
This role welcomes applicants UK wide, and we offer hybrid working from office and home. You'll be flexible to weekly travel throughout England and Wales as required. You'll also have a driving licence that permits you to drive in the UK.
National Grid Strategic Infrastructure is a Business Unit created to propel our grid forward to deliver in 5 years, what has been achieved in the previous 30. By 2030 we aim to have 17 new major infrastructure projects live across England, Scotland and Wales.
