Senior IT Support Engineer Onsite VIP Support | SCCM | Windows | Legal Sector

Location: Central London 100% Onsite, MondayFriday

Overview

Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer who thrives in a high-performance, client-facing environment? Do you excel in providing white-glove support to senior stakeholders in fast-paced professional services settings?

Were hiring a Senior IT Support Engineer to join our London-based team, delivering elite deskside support to VIPs within a global legal and professional services firm. Youll act as a key escalation point, deputise for the IT Team Lead, and contribute to high-impact tech initiatives.

This is more than break-fixits an opportunity to lead, influence, and build a support function aligned to the needs of top-tier stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver white-glove/VIP deskside support to executives, ensuring a seamless, high-touch user experience.
  • Provide in-person 2ndline support for Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and enterprise software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network-related issues across laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Perform imaging, configuration, and deployment using SCCM, Intune, and endpoint management tools.
  • Manage installations, patching, and application rollouts in line with ITIL and service delivery standards.
  • Own and resolve IT incidents end-to-end, meeting agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Maintain and enhance IT documentation, operational runbooks, and standard procedures.
  • Act as a deputy to the IT Team Lead, supporting project delivery, team mentoring, and technical escalations.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in user support, automation, and service delivery initiatives.
  • Proven experience in onsite deskside support for senior stakeholders in legal / law firm (highly preferred) or other professional services / corporate environments such as financial services, accountancy, audit etc
  • Expertise in white-glove/VIP support, with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities with knowledge of break-fix, hardware diagnostics, and software support.
  • Hands‑on experience with SCCM, Intune, ServiceNow, and Windows OS.
  • Supervisory or previous team leading experience and the ability to act as an escalation point is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Office 365, Office 2016, and standard enterprise collaboration tools.
  • Advantage: Familiarity with legal sector tools (e.g., iManage, BigHand, Document Management Systems).
  • Desirable: PowerShell scripting or automation skills for task simplification.
