Overview Of The Role

KX is hiringa Senior IT Support Engineer, the successful candidate will be performance and results oriented, possessing a drive and energy to achieve goals in a timely and effective manner. This is a technical role which will function as an escalation point within the IT team for Level and support. The ideal candidate will be able to ensure timely and accurate communication of all relevant support or project issues, alongside timely escalation of problematic items to line management and an ability to work on their own initiative to identify and resolve issues and suggest technical improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Level & Support and technical guidance within the IT team
  • Administration and management of Active Directory, AD Connect, Office and Entra ID
  • Management of Windows based IT Services such as email and file sharing delivered via Microsoft technologies such as Windows, Office , OneDrive, SharePoint Online and Teams
  • Provide Desktop support services to all KX staff – local and remote support across multiple Operating System environments including Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and Linux
  • Work as part of the wider technology team to help deliver IT Projects such as environment‑wide software deployments, system integrations and introduction of technical innovations
  • Deliver excellent user experience to the highest standards, while actively contributing to the improvement of IT departmental processes and procedures
  • Manage KX Internal telecoms and video conferencing systems including Zoom, Teams and RingCentral.
  • Manage software patching and upgrades via MDM
  • Manage the corporate security infrastructure (Defender EDR, Data Loss Prevention policies, Anti‑Spam & Anti‑Phishing policies etc.)
  • Administration of Apple Business Manager, JAMF Pro MDM and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (InTune)
  • Administration and management of Printers and cloud printing technologies
Essential Experience
  • plus years’ experience supporting Windows / based systems
  • plus years’ experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server
  • plus years’ experience supporting Active Directory
  • plus years’ experience supporting SharePoint Online
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft tenant
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Entra (Azure) and Endpoint Manager (Intune)
  • Teamwork : experience of working in a team
Skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Good interpersonal skills
