ABOUT THE FIRM

Based in London, this BRW Top 100 listed firm and market leader in the Insolvency & Restructuring sector. This firm maintains a national presence across most metropolitan cities in UK and offers the opportunity for secondment. Working alongside LSE-listed clients this firm offers the opportunity to gain vast exposure to complex matters in the insolvency space whilst working alongside various industry professionals such as lawyers, valuation agents, government bodies and agencies. The firm is looking to bring on a motivated accountant who is looking to develop their career.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE CONSIST OF
  • Managing asset realisation on behalf of creditors, for example, debt collections, cash at bank, instructing agents to sell plant and equipment, furniture and fittings and stock
  • Experience in managing employee issues including entitlements, FEG and payment summaries
  • Conducting investigations into company affairs and deploying analytical skills to identify issues and provide recommendations on recovery actions
  • Experience in stakeholder management, including creditor, employee, and regulatory and peak bodies
  • Experience in facilitating payments to creditors
  • Assist with the management and development of more junior team members
  • Provide strategic, commercial and financial advice to restructuring clients
