Responsibilities
- Deliver technical highways and drainage designs, including support for S104, S38 and S278 applications.
- Produce drainage strategies and flood risk assessments for development projects.
- Check drawings, reports, and outputs produced by junior engineers.
- Liaise with clients and project managers, presenting information with confidence.
- Manage projects with moderate supervision, ensuring deadlines and high standards are consistently met.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- Proven UK experience in highways and drainage design.
- Strong working knowledge of design standards (DMRB, Manual for Streets, Sewers for Adoption, etc.).
- Experience with S38, S278, and S104 processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civils 3D, plus experience with Microdrainage and/or Causeway Flow.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- A full UK driving licence (as some site visits may be required).
