Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical highways and drainage designs, including support for S104, S38 and S278 applications.
  • Produce drainage strategies and flood risk assessments for development projects.
  • Check drawings, reports, and outputs produced by junior engineers.
  • Liaise with clients and project managers, presenting information with confidence.
  • Manage projects with moderate supervision, ensuring deadlines and high standards are consistently met.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Proven UK experience in highways and drainage design.
  • Strong working knowledge of design standards (DMRB, Manual for Streets, Sewers for Adoption, etc.).
  • Experience with S38, S278, and S104 processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civils 3D, plus experience with Microdrainage and/or Causeway Flow.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • A full UK driving licence (as some site visits may be required).
