An established international engineering organisation is seeking a Senior HR Advisor on a 12-month maternity cover basis. This role supports managers and employees during a period of change, offering HR advice and aligning HR processes. Ideal candidates should be CIPD Level 5 qualified, possess strong knowledge of UK employment law, and have proven experience in employee relations. The position involves working across two locations, making stakeholder management and compliance essential.

Qualifications

• Must have CIPD Level 5 qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law is essential.
• Experience in managing employee relations cases required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR advice on employee relations matters.
• Maintain HR policies in line with UK employment law.
• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Produce reports to support HR and business decision-making.
• Support HR projects and organisational change initiatives.

Skills

Strong working knowledge of UK employment law

Confident communicator

Strong stakeholder management skills

Education
