We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our global team. In this role, you will support a wide range of HR services, acting as an HR expert to advise, guide, and support colleagues and managers in people management and development. You will ensure high-quality, consistent HR support throughout the employee lifecycle and deliver various consultative HR services.

This is a nationwide role with travel across the UK to various offices, primarily working onsite at the Alton facility.

  • HR Community, Payroll, General Managers, and VPs
Responsibilities:
  1. Be the first point of contact for employee relation issues, supporting managers and employees according to company policies, escalating to the Senior HR Business Partner as needed.
  2. Provide guidance on restructuring and succession planning, aligned with organizational strategy and supported by the Senior HRBP.
  3. Offer accurate and timely HR advice to support company objectives.
  4. Maintain and develop HR policies and procedures in line with organizational strategies.
  5. Collaborate with other HR Advisors to ensure engagement and quality service to stakeholders.
  6. Assist managers with HR topics such as pay, benefits, policies, and employment lifecycle queries.
  7. Support recruitment decisions and resource planning, working with internal teams.
  8. Identify training needs and coordinate with HR colleagues to source providers.
  9. Deliver local training on HR matters.
  10. Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  11. Participate in HR metrics reporting and cyclical HR activities like talent reviews and salary benchmarking.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an HR advisory role or similar.
  • Experience in a busy HR environment across multiple sites is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Professional HR qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff.
  • Problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
  • IT literacy, knowledge of Workday is a plus.
