We're looking for a proactive, confident HR professional to provide first-line advice and support on a wide range of workforce matters. You'll manage a varied caseload, build strong relationships, and deliver timely, practical guidance aligned with legislation, policy, and our Workforce Strategy. You'll advise across multiple employment terms and pay scales, support hearings, and support complex TUPEs and restructures. You'll also play a key role in shaping our HR/OD service contributing ideas, sharing insights, and helping us continuously improve. Responsibilities
- Provide first-line advice and support on a wide range of workforce matters; manage a varied caseload; build strong relationships; deliver timely, practical guidance aligned with legislation, policy, and our Workforce Strategy.
- Advise across multiple employment terms and pay scales, support hearings, and support complex TUPEs and restructures.
- Contribute ideas and insights to shape the HR/OD service and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Evidence CIPD qualifications and significant knowledge of legal and compliance standards, as well as HR best practice.
- Evidence of HR advisory experience in complex, unionised environments.
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex and sensitive information to a range of stakeholders.
