A leading global consultancy is seeking an Onshore Senior HSE Advisor for a project in Norwich, England. Rotations : Monday-Friday, 10 hours a day

The HSE advisor promotes and provides professional expert knowledge and guidance to managers, supervisors, employees and contractors on safe work practices, safety standards, and legal regulations, and supports identification and elimination of potential hazards and ensures control measures are in place.
Secure HSE conformity using agreed processes and legal registers.
Support and promote development and use of management systems.
Proactive approach to risk management.
Be clear, effective, and positive in verbal and written communication.
Maintain successful cooperation / collaboration with the HSE stakeholders.
Demonstrate efficient and timely collaboration internally / externally.
Report reliable and timely HSE data.
Demonstrate analytical and structured approach to daily workload.
Support ongoing development, implementation, and use of systems, procedures, instructions, and associated HSE documentation i.e. :
Instructions, procedures, contingency plans
HSE Management system (way we work) / QHSE process landscape.
Global / local Emergency Response / Crisis Management
Audit / compliance check (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 / 55001)
The QHSE function is not the exclusive owner of HSE and therefore does not hold the authority to determine HSE performance on its own.
However, a HSE Advisor is a subject matter expert and can therefore contribute to decision-making based on personal level of understanding of the business and the interdependencies with other departments.
The role is onshore site based at the Converter Station & Battery Storage facility (BESS), near to Swardeston and is expected to work on site or at the site office daily. The role involves HSE support to the Converter station construction, HSE support to the construction of the Battery Storage facility (BESS) and HSE support to the Norwich Main / National Grid interface. The construction projects are at the same base location. Main scope of works currently being undertaken are the Mechanical and Electrical commissioning phase of the projects.
Travel expenses are not chargeable to the base location.
However, flexibility is required for occasional off project site visits for company and supplier internal / external meetings, which may also be overseas.
The shift pattern is a 5-day a week rotation (Mondays - Friday), 10-hour days.
There may be some flexibility for occasional working from home if authorised by project management.
Applicants must be local to the project and are expected to live within 60 minutes travel time of the site.
