Overview
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: PCS update (write care plan & review) and carry out weekly/monthly audits.
Responsibilities
- 3-4 days shift work: assist clients with all aspects of their personal care needs as required including bathing, washing, dressing and undressing.
- Be in charge of your team and manage the floor.
- Keep records up to date, ensuring all recording is accurate.
- Participate in the home's activities internally and externally.
- Participate in training courses as arranged.
- Use appropriate infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide support to relatives and friends.
- Assist in maintaining client records and carry out care audits.
- Attend all training sessions as required.
- Liaise with GP, care professionals, local authorities and other clinical authorities.
- Carry out medications in line with the requirements and medication policy.
- To participate in any other duties which may be required from time to time.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience

- Experience working as a senior carer in care sector or in a hospital environment
- Clinical knowledge or clinical background
- NVQ 2/3 or equalling qualifications or studying towards a managing career
