Qualifications

• MRCP required.
• 10 years experience in relevant medical specialties.
• Full GMC registration and a licence to practice.
• Awareness of legal responsibilities (e.g., safeguarding, mental capacity act).
• CCT or CESR in geriatric medicine if applying for consultant post.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care in Acute/General and Older Peoples Medicine.
• Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Liaise with Social Services, GPs, and voluntary organisations.
• Provide specialist advice to colleagues and support staff.
• Contribute to teaching and supervision of junior doctors.
• Participate in audits and quality improvement.
