Ayesa is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing Geotechnical team. You will contribute to a variety of design projects. Previous design commissions include various renewal schemes for railway earthwork assets, temporary works designs for flood defence schemes and detailed geotechnical design input for a major new conference centre building in Wales.

Key Responsibilities
- The candidate will have responsibility for client interface, technical direction, budgetary control and day to day management of junior engineers.
- Management of relationships with key clients and contacts across the business including client liaison and development.
- Management of projects within time, cost and quality constraints and standards.
- Management of the day-to-day work of the team.
- Monitors and manages compliance and KPI's.
- Business development including the preparation of tender submissions.
- Estimating, pricing and delivering against work targets.
- Working as a member of a project team to deliver quality services to clients.
- Ensures all geotechnical designs are in accordance with set standards and all recommendations are robust, value-based and commissionable.
- Ensures that designs are delivered on time to our clients and that the design fulfills the client's brief.
- Monitors processes and results and ensure that they comply with relevant safety, legal, ethical and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
What You Bring
Experience & Qualifications
- 6+ years' experience in Geotechnical design.
- Has achieved Chartered status.
- Ideally have a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Deep understanding of the principles of Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
- Demonstrate an ability to understand complex problems and to conceive innovative solutions.
- Experienced & confident with report writing and presentation skills.
- Can effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships and always aiming to exceed client expectations.
- Adheres to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health and Safety Regulations.
- Is committed to Continued Professional Development.
